Audio Visual Engineer
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated AV Engineer to play a central role in our events and production programme. As a senior operational technician, you will lead the day-to-day technical delivery of events, support the planning and execution of complex productions, and ensure all audio-visual systems are delivered to a professional standard.

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in live event technical delivery (sound, lighting, video, or staging)
- Strong practical knowledge of AV systems and event production workflows
- Ability to lead and support a team in a live event environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and calmness under pressure
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach to stakeholders
- A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Salary: Grade A - £26,978 to £29,663
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week - Includes regular evening and weekend work
Location: The Union, Manchester Metropolitan University
